2020 CALL FOR CODE
GLOBAL CHALLENGE

The 2020 Call for Code Global Challenge was expanded to contain dual tracks that address the world’s reaction to the COVID-19 public health crisis in addition to Climate Change – two pressing issues that have the power to compromise our health, our planet and our survival.

Based on the short and long-term threats of both issues, developers around the world have been asked to create innovative solutions addressing these issues in the following ways:

COVID-19: Open source technology can help combat the impacts of the global pandemic by improving crisis communications, improving remote learning and helping communities to cooperate.

CLIMATE CHANGE: Innovate with the latest technology to address energy sustainability, water sustainability or disaster resiliency.
