His unforgettable Hail Mary touchdown pass in 1984, clinching a stunning Boston College victory over Miami, remains etched in football history.
That evening, the band Boston reunited for the Red, White & Blue Awards Concert, joining Keith Lockhart and The Boston Pops for a stirring performance at Symphony Hall. Proceeds supported The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, founded by Flutie and his wife, Laurie, in honor of their son, Doug Jr. Dedicated to helping families affected by autism, the Foundation funds essential services, research, and community programs, transforming lives across New England and beyond
